These terms cover this website, inkmere.com, and the reserve list it hosts. The site does one thing, so the terms are short. If anything here is unclear, write to me and you will get a straight answer.

1. Who you are dealing with

Inkmere Pte Ltd is a Singapore company and the legal party to these terms. In practice Inkmere is one person, Dennis Ng, and when this page says “I”, that is who is speaking.

2. This website

The site describes Newsboard, a product still in its first production run. I keep every claim on it truthful: the photographs are of real units, and specifications marked “measured at first-run QA” stay open until they are measured. Even so, details such as dimensions, weight, pricing and dates can change before the first run ships. The site is information about the product, not a contractual offer to sell it.

3. The reserve list

Leaving your email address asks me to tell you when ordering opens, and gives the list first access to the early-bird units. It is not an order and not a deposit: you pay nothing, and neither of us owes the other anything. Your address is handled as described in the privacy policy, and you can come off the list at any time by using the link in any email or by writing to me.

4. Ordering

The first run will be sold through Kickstarter. Those purchases happen under Kickstarter's own terms and the promises made on the campaign page, not under this page.

5. The words and photographs

The content of this site, including the text and the photography, belongs to Inkmere Pte Ltd. Share it anywhere with a link back; please ask before reusing it commercially.

6. No warranties

The site is provided as it stands. I work to keep it accurate and available, but I cannot promise it is free of errors or interruptions, and to the extent Singapore law allows, Inkmere accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on it.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore.

8. Changes and contact

If these terms change, the current version will always be at this address with the date above updated. For any question about them, write to [email protected]; it is the same inbox as the privacy policy, and it is me who answers.
